How long does it take to register a domain name?

Adion Solutions aims to register your domain name, providing it is still available, within 24 hours.

Why is my domain name still showing up as available?

Domain registry databases can take between 24-48 hours to be updated so even though your domain has been registered it may still show up on WHOIS  being available. Global domain names tend to take the longest to show up as being registered due to a new shared registry system.

What happens to my domain after the date of expiry?

We will notify you before the expiry of the domain name and even if you miss the notification (Ex: You are on a vacation) we will reserve the domain for next 14 days so that nobody can grab your domain name.

Who owns the domain?

You own the domain after you purchase the same with the  required amount of money. You can sell/transfer the domain whatever you like. The domain remains with you even if you choose not to host with us. Your domain control panel is: http://adionsolutions.myorderbox.com
N.B.: Be careful while typing your email when you are registering your domain online. Because this email will be your username for your domain control panel.

What is transferring a domain?

If you have a domain registered with another web service provider and you want to have that domain in your Adion Solutions account you can transfer that particular domain. To do that click on the "Transfer" icon. Make sure that the you are the registrant of that particular domain (Try http://www.internic.net/whois.html ) since you will receive a confirmation mail from us as well as your previous registrar.
N.B.: 1. Transfering your Domain Name to Adion Solutions will add 1 Year to your Domain Name.
2. Your Domain Name must be atleast 60 days old. You cannot transfer a Domain Name if it has been registered in the last 60 days.

How to use/configure the MS-Access Database?

How to use/configure the MS-Access Database?

Upload all your database files in the "db" folder.
For OLEDB Connection string Set con=Server.CreateObject("Adodb.Connection") con.Open "Provider=Microsoft.JET.OLEDB.4.0; Data Source=c:\domains\yourdomain.ext\db\YOUR_database.mdb" Try creating and using ODBC DSN connections . It is simpler. If you want OLEDB, the database location is c:\Domains\yourdomain.com\db\your-database-name.mdb You create ODBC DSN from the domain page (LOG IN TO YOUR HELM CONTROL Panel > Click On Domains Icon > click on yourdomain.com) You have to create the database first (using Database manager). Then creating the DSN for it (using ODBC DSN) using the name of the database you just created. That is all.

I had hosted my website with another web host but I want to host the domain with you. How?

Do you have the domain control Panel?
If not ask your previous web host to give you the domain control panel.
You Have to change the DNS (Domain Name Server) from ns1.yourprevioushost.com AND ns2.yourprevioushost.com To ns1.yournewhost.com AND ns2.yournewhost.com
If your previous host denies to give you the domain control panel you can transfer your domain to us. But for that you have to be the owner of the domain.
Surprised? Don't be. Go to http://www.networksolutions.com/en_US/whois/index.jhtml Type your domain name and make a search. If you find the Administrative contact is in your name and the Admin email is of yours then you are lucky.
Many people find that the domain they have bought from their previous host is not registered in their name!!

I completed the order online and Opted for Offline(Cheque/Invoice) payment Option.  But the Invoice I received is in US Dollars. How much will that be Indian Rupees?

We admit there is a flaw in the software -- it is designed for US dollars only. But we also think that this
will not be a major hindrance. Because the corresponding figures in Indian Rupees is also given in our
website. So you can easily calculate the equivalent amount and send the money accordingly.
